Tuning in to Kids Online Facilitator Training is a 3-half-day professional development workshop that gives trainees a grounding in the concepts of Emotional Intelligence and Emotion Coaching.

This workshop will be helpful for a broad range of mental health practitioners and lived experience workforces working in child and youth mental health services.

School attendance has been described as a key benchmark of adaptive functioning in children and adolescence. While school refusal is often considered a semi-emergency in psychiatric settings given the lasting impact of persistent non-attendance from school.

The connection between childhood experiences, the brain and development into adulthood. The training will focus on how these adverse occurrences/traumas impact mental health, physical health and how substance use plays a part in the developing body and brain.
